We designed Scan to PDF with your privacy as a core principle. Therefore:

We do not collect any personal identification information (such as your name, email address, or phone number).

We do not collect any sensitive device data (such as precise location, contact lists, or SMS messages).

We do not upload your documents, images, or PDFs to our servers for processing. All processing (scanning, converting, merging, OCR, signing) is done entirely on your device (on-device processing).

2. Information We May Have Access To (But Do Not Collect)

To provide the core functionality of the App, the App requests certain permissions to access data on your device. You can revoke these permissions at any time in your device settings.

Camera: Accessed only when you choose to scan a document or take a photo to convert to a PDF. We do not collect or store the images you capture.

Photo Library (Photos/Media/Files): Accessed only when you choose to select an image from your gallery to convert to a PDF, or to select a PDF file to edit, merge, or sign. We do not collect, store, or transmit the contents of your photo library.

3. Third-Party Services

We do not share any information with third parties because we do not collect any.

4. Data Retention Policy

Since all processing happens on your device, we do not retain any of your data. Your documents, images, and PDFs remain on your device under your complete control. You are responsible for managing and deleting these files from your own device storage.

5. Children's Privacy

Our App does not address anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children. Since we do not collect any data, this risk is eliminated.

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. Thus, you are advised to review this page periodically for any changes. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last Updated" date.
